Western 3, Northwest 0: The score was pretty much a secondary factor in the match at Western High School Wednesday night. The Western Panthers and Northwest Mounties teamed up Wednesday night in support of Team Kenzie. Kenzie Hiler is a 2022 graduate of Western High School and a former volleyball player who is currently battling Leukemia. Both teams sported a Team Kenzie shirt on the floor to show their support for Kenzie because “No One Fights Alone.” All proceeds from the game will be donated to the Hiler Family. Western won the match 25-16, 25-21, and 25-14 in front of a packed house. Kayda Herrick and Bayli Stewart each tallied 10 kills for Western. Abby Nieswender dished 21 assists, Palmer Fortress contributed 29 digs and J.J. Lewis added 19 digs for the Panthers (18-4 overall, 2-0 conference).
