Volleyball

Concord Tri-Meet: The Yellow Jackets went 1-1 on the night with a win over Britton Deerfield (25-10, 25-13) but lost to former conference foes Homer (25-8, 25-19). 

Waldron 3, Jackson Christian 0: Kyana Herendeen finished with 11 kills, Rennie Huff added 13 digs, and Madi Conrad dished 22 assists for the Royals. 

Olivet 2, Jackson 0: The Vikings lost to Olivet 25-18 and 25-18 at Olivet Thursday night. 

Gabriel Richard 3, Lumen Christi 0: The Titans fell 25-9. 25-17, and 25-11 on the road Thursday. 

Boys Soccer

Jackson Christian 6, Stockbridge 0: J.D. Locke scored a pair of goals and two assists in the win for the Royals. Locke now has 16 goals on the season. Drew Barney and Jayden Schnitkey also scored a pair of goals for Jackson Christian (6-3-2). Aaden Breton finished with the shutout in goal for the Royals.  

University Liggett 3, Lumen Christi 0: The Titans fell at home in soccer action.

Northwest 2, Michigan Center 1: Northwest High School sophomore Thomas Fall and junior Drake Tillman both found the back of the net in the first half to secure the victory for the Mounties. Hector Ramirez scored the only goal of the game for Michigan Center. Hunter Clemons and Kaden Leighton combined for 11 saves in the game for MCHS.   

Western 5, Harper Creek 1: The Panthers took a 3-0 lead at halftime on goals by Quentin Eva, Roarke Watterson, and Gavin Barrett. Eva and Luke Herrington scored in the second half for Western (7-3-1). 

Girls Golf

Jackson at Dexter Tri-Meet: Jackson High School finished third with 273 at Dexter Thursday. Avery White shot a 58 for the Vikings.  

Boys Tennis

Ann Arbor Huron 8, Jackson 0: The Vikings lost at home on Thursday in tennis action.  

Lumen Christi 5, Divine Child 3: The Titans swept the doubles matches with wins by Gabe Cooper/Chase Schirmacher at No. 1 doubles, Luke DuMont/Holden Luce at No. 2 doubles, a win at No. 3 doubles by Maden Brady/Zack Tropea, and a win by Brogan Kelly/Boyer Zimmerman at No. 4 doubles. Luke Tropea earned the only singles win for LCCHS with a victory at No. 2 singles. 

Northwest 8, Pennfield 0: The Mounties earned another I-8 match with a victory over B.C. Pennfield. Drew Maples, Alex Thrun, and Gavin Rush lost only one game apiece in winning singles matches Nos. 1-3 respectively. Pennfield forfeited the No. 4 singles match against the Mounties. 

Western 8, Marshall 0: Western High School freshman Alex Davis won a big match for the Panthers at No. 3 singles, 6-1 and 6-2. Also earning 6-0 and 6-0 singles wins were Lucas Parrott, Jaxon Porter, and Derek Olivas. The Panthers remained undefeated in Interstate-8 Conference play with the victory.
