(August 16, 2021 8:04 AM) The final four vying for the Jackson City Golf Championship was set on Sunday at Cascades Golf Course.
John Tarpley, Cannon Risner, Mike Brockie, and Colin O’Connell earned wins in the quarterfinals on Sunday.
Tarpley earned a 2-up win over Mike Raymond, Risner won 1-up over Dave Mickle, Brockie defeated Bob Varner 3-and-2, and O’Connell defeated Nate LaZebnik 3-and-1 on Sunday.
Brockie and O’Connell will play in a semifinal match on Wednesday at 1 p.m. and Tarpley and Risner will begin on Wednesday at 2:30.
The 36-hole final is set for Saturday morning at Cascades Golf Course.

PGA Tour event
At Wyndham Championship
Brian Stuard shot rounds of 65, 66, 72, and 65 to finish tied for 15th place in the PGA Tours final regular season event. Stuard is now 85th on the FedEx Cup Series points list heading into the playoffs. The first tournament is the Northern Trust Championship at Liberty National Golf Club in New Jersey. The top 125 will be cut down to the top 70 after the tournament. Stuard will need to make the cut and move down 15 spots to get into the top 70. He earned $91,342 at the Wyndham Championship on Sunday. Stuard birdied his last four holes on Sunday to move into the top 25 for the tournament. He finished three shots out of first place in the event.
