Final Four Set in Lyle Ambs Memorial Golf Tournament

(June 22, 2024 5:09 PM ET) There will not be a repeat champion in the Lyle Ambs Memorial Golf Tournament at Sharp Park Golf Course.

Todd Marson survived a long, sweltering day of golf to defeat defending champion John Tarpley in the championship flight quarterfinal 2 & 1.

Marston joins fellow golfers Zach DeFrain, Cannon Risner, and Cody Lysher in the semifinals Sunday.

Risner won the title in 2022, Marston is a two-time champion in the Lyle Ambs winning in 2011 and 2014, and DeFrain has been in the finals twice in the tournament.

The winners advance to the afternoon title match in the championship flight.

Andy Horodecki, Doug Bevan, Tom Raymond, and Will Double will compete for the first flight championship Sunday morning. Each won a pair of match play matches Saturday.

Jim Coutu faces Brian Strickrodt in the eight-player second flight tournament.
