At the beginning of the 2015 High School football season, JTV Sports hosts Joel Freehling and Josh Burgett made predictions that we sealed in non-toxic envelopes. Well, they have been opened and it’s time to see how they did…
1. (Josh) On October 16th, Manchester and Vandercook will play for the Cascades Conference title. Both teams will be undefeated in the conference and the Jayhawks will make the post season for the first time since 1996. Correct
2. Hillsdale wins the LCAA by beating Hudson on October 23rd. Both teams will be undefeated until week 9. Incorrect
3. Eastern Michigan University will not have a winning record. Correct
4. Ray Rice will be on an NFL roster and starting. Incorrect
1. (Joel) Lumen Christi wins the Interstate 8 but with 1 loss and shares the title. Incorrect
2. Jackson High makes the playoffs. Correct
3. Adrian Peterson will lead the league in rushing by the time the envelopes are revealed. Correct
4. After a 4-0 U of M start, Josh Burgett starts wearing khakis on every JTV gameday, a la Jim Harbaugh. Incorrect
