Golden Eagles Bring Back Experience, Look To Win Big Games in 2025

(8-9-2025, 12:00PM): – After losing four games by single digits last year, Columbia Central looks to get over the hump and compete for the Cascades-West in 2025.

HC Dylan Zaborowski is returning for his 4th year with the Golden Eagles. “He puts trust in us. Loves us and loves what he does” said the players.

Key returning players include senior QB Conor Rentfrow. Rentfrow won the starting job last year but suffered an early injury and is back for a full year with CC. Other returners include seniors Dylan Boone (OL/DL), Dylan Hammond (WR/DB), Issac Hammontree (TE/LB), and Garrett Denney (OL/DL). Juniors Bauston Pilaczynski (RB/LB) and Trent Troyer (WR/DB) will also be key players.

Newcomers expected to make an impact include sophomore Julian Boardman (RB/DB), who played some varsity minutes in the back half of the 2024 season and will see the field a significant amount.

Zaborowski will remain the offensive playcaller and defensive coordinator Jared Hall returns for his second season.

Goals for the 2025 season include beating Napoleon to begin the year, and competing for the Cascades-West.
