
(April 7, 2021 9:19 AM) Hemlock High School had to withdraw from the Michigan High School Athletic Association Division 3 girls’ basketball playoff game against Grass Lake scheduled for today at 10 a.m.
An MHSAA press release did not specify the reason.
The Warriors will face either Kent City (20-0) or Calumet (20-0) on Friday in the MHSAA Division 3 basketball final.
The final is scheduled to be played at 3 p.m. at the Breslin Student Events Center on the campus of Michigan State University. The Warriors are 19-1 and playing in the school’s first girls’ state basketball finals.
