Northwest Community Schools Superintendent Geoff Bontrager announced the date for the groundbreaking of the new elementary school is April 30, 2014. Construction to replace the current Parnall Elementary School will last approximately 15 months with an anticipated opening of August 2015. A variety of projects are underway or being planned following the passage of the district’s bond proposals last fall.
