(6-19-2025, 8:00AM): Earlier this week, select high school baseball and softball players in the state of Michigan were named all-state after having an exceptional 2025 season. The players/teams were determined by the Michigan High School Baseball/Softball Coaches Association. Here are the following players honored from this area:

Ava Golightly – Northwest (SS) – Golightly is committed to the Univ. of Toledo after having a historic career at NWHS. Golightly completed the trifecta of 200 stolen bases, singles and runs scored throughout her four year varsity career.
HONORABLE MENTION
Bayli Stewart – Parma Western (2B) – Stewart is committed to Hope College to play basketball next year.

Emily Brown – Grass Lake (OF) – Brown set a new MHSAA state record for most runs in a season (96), passing Ashley Bila (Laingsburg, 2021) who had 93 runs. Brown’s 2024 season is also in the top 20 in the record book and she is set to play softball at Hope College next year.

Breyenn Salts – Grass Lake (C) – Salts is committed to play softball at Central Michigan University next year.
Morgan Conrad – Grass Lake (P)

Alexyn DuBois – Hanover Horton (P) – DuBois is committed to play for Spring Arbor University next year.
Hailey Wetherby – Brooklyn Columbia Central (P) – Wetherby was the leader for the Golden Eagles this year, just as a sophomore. She helped lead CC to a district title and an appearance in the Regional Final.
