DIVISION 2 at Charlotte:

Western 3, Niles 2: After winning the first two sets 25-20, Niles rallied back to force a fifth set. The Panthers took the fifth set 15-12 to keep their season alive. Georgia Addleman led the Panthers with 13 kills, 19 assists and 11 digs. Western will face Tecumseh in a D2 Regional Final on Thursday night at Charlotte HS. Tecumseh is 54-2 overall and made it to the state final in 2024.

 

DIVISION 3 at Clinton:

Hanover Horton 3, Lumen Christi 0: Brynn DeGlee finished with 11 kills and 16 digs, and Mollie Barber added 10 kills and 10 digs to lead the Comets. Molly Soper tallied 32 assists to help lead the offense. “When we struggle, we get the ball to her (Brynn DeGlee)”, HH Coach Amber Cole told JTV’s David Rice postgame. “Being diversified on offense will help us on Thursday. We have seen both Grass Lake and Monroe already this season and we know what we have ahead of us”.

 

Monroe St. Mary Catholic Central 3, Grass Lake 1

 

Lumen Christi ends their season at 16-17-1 with a second straight district title, Grass Lake ends their season at 25-14-4. #4 ranked Hanover Horton (42-1-1) will face #5 Monroe SMCC in the D3 Regional Final on Thursday night at Clinton HS, a rematch from the 2024 quarterfinals.
