Starks2Thomas Starks Jr., a 6’6 forward from Fort Wayne Concordia Lutheran High School has signed with Spring Arbor University. An Indiana Top 60 Recruit, the versatile prep standout recently led the Cadets to the Class 3A State Championship Finals while compiling a 23-5 record.

At the state finals, Thomas was recognized as the Arthur L. Trester Award for Mental Attitude recipient. This prestigious honor is given to the outstanding senior participant in each classification of the boys’ basketball state finals. The winners of this award, who were nominated by their principals, and coaches, must excel in mental attitude, scholarship, leadership and athletic ability.

“Thomas is an extraordinary young man and an outstanding basketball player,” noted SAU Head Coach Ryan Cottingham. “He is an impact player and an impact person.”
