On April 18th, Hanover Horton baseball’s Braylon Sayles went perfect batting for the Comets against Addison. Sayles batted 6-for-6 in the doubleheader, hitting a record five home runs and driving in 9 RBIs. Sayles tied the MHSAA state record with four home runs in one game.
He also tied for second in state history, hitting four home runs in consecutive at-bats. HH is now 12-8 overall on the season.
Last week, Northwest softball faced Clinton and achieved some exciting milestones. Senior Ava Golightly recorded her 200th run on the night, placing her within the MHSAA all-time top 50 for career runs scored.
