(August 13, 2023 5:52 PM ET) Jackson College and the City of Jackson continue to offer classes close to downtown at the Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Center.

Prospective students are invited to the Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Center to explore the various learning opportunities offered. Students may attend an upcoming registration date to get started, where they may apply and learn more about advising, registration and financial aid.  

  • Monday, Aug. 14, 2-4 p.m.
  • Monday, Aug. 21, 5-7 p.m.

All students are welcome to enroll, from traditional-aged students recently out of high school to returning adult students. Courses to be offered at the MLK Center in fall semester include:

  • SEM 140 Seminar in Life Pathways, Mondays, 12:30 – 3:56 p.m., 8/28 – 11/21
  • BUA 220 Principles of Management, Tuesdays, 6-8:45 p.m., 10/25 – 12/16
  • ENG 131 Writing Experience, Mondays, 12:30 – 3:15 p.m., 8/28 – 10/16
  • ENG 232 Business & Tech Writing, Wednesdays, 12:30 – 3:15 p.m., 10/25 – 12/16
