Jackson College to Host Region 12 Baseball Tournament

(May 13, 2024 8:54 PM ET) Jackson College will host the National Junior College Athletic Association Region 12 Baseball Tournament starting Thursday.

JC will face Grand Rapids in the opening game Thursday at 11 a.m. and Kellogg will face Kalamazoo Valley at 2:30 p.m.

The two losing teams will then face one another at 6 p.m. for an elimination game.

On Friday, the winner of games one and two face off at 1 p.m. for a chance to advance to the finals. The loser of that semifinal game faces the winner of the elimination game at 4:30 p.m.

Championship game No. 1 will be Saturday at 4:30 p.m. A second game could be played Saturday evening if either team has not lost two games in the tournament.

The winner advances in the NJCAA baseball tournament.

Jackson College enters the tournament with a 30-19 record and will be the No. 3 seed in the four-team tournament.
