(July 7, 2020 2:02 PM) The Jackson County Health Department released the COVID-19 positive numbers for Jackson County.  As of 12 PM today, there are 506 positive cases (cumulative), and 31 deaths (cumulative)*.    

There is 1 new case and 1 new death since yesterday’s report. 

The Michigan Department of Corrections is reporting as of 4 PM Monday, July 6, there are 1,608 of confirmed positive cases at Jackson facilities and 157 confirmed positive staff.

As of 6 AM July 1, there is one person at Henry Ford Allegiance Health being treated inpatient for COVID-19.

Cumulative recovered** patients (cumulative): 431 (updated weekly, as of July 3).

*These numbers do not reflect any cases or deaths identified through Michigan Department of Corrections.  Their numbers are listed under a separate category “Others” for the Michigan Statistics.

**Recovered is defined as the number of persons with a confirmed COVID-19 diagnosis who are alive 30 days post-onset (or referral date if onset is not available).
