Jackson County Cumulative Report: 596 COVID-19 Positive Cases and 31 Deaths

(July 25, 2020 12:12 PM) The Jackson County Health Department released the COVID-19 positive numbers for Jackson County. As of 12 PM today, there are 596 positive cases (cumulative), and 31 deaths (cumulative)*.

There are 2 new cases since yesterday’s report.

Cumulative recovered, as of July 24, 2020: 445**

The Michigan Department of Corrections is reporting as of 2:45 PM Sunday, July 19, there are 1,379 confirmed positive cases at Jackson facilities and 158 confirmed positive staff cases.

As of 2 PM July 22, there are 5 persons at Henry Ford Allegiance Health being treated as inpatients for COVID-19.

*These numbers do not reflect any cases or deaths identified through Michigan Department of Corrections. Their numbers are listed under a separate category “Others” for the Michigan Statistics.

**Recovered is defined as the number of persons with a confirmed COVID-19 diagnosis who are alive 30 days post-onset (or referral date if onset is not available).
