Jackson County Sheriff Steve Rand announced the Sheriff’s Office 2016 award recipients last night at the department’s annual Awards Banquet. Recipients are nominated by members of the Sheriff’s Office and then chosen by an Awards Board headed by Captain Robert Vogt, Captain Wayne Bisard and consisting of representatives from all areas of the Sheriff’s Office. Awards are given for excellence in service to the Citizens of Jackson County during the 2016 calendar year and presented by Sheriff Steve Rand and Undersheriff Chris Kuhl. Award recipients were announced and honored at the banquet held at the Cascades Manor House on May 3, 2017.
