Greater Jackson Habitat for Humanity Blitz Build. A week-long construction event to raise and enclose the first two houses in Greater Jackson Habitat’s DeLand Pointe neighborhood. Volunteers will work alongside Habitat staff and contractors to raise the walls and roofs, install siding, and weatherize the homes. DeLand Pointe will be a 6-house neighborhood located adjacent to the new Jackson YMCA on the corners of W. Franklin Street, S. Mechanic Street, and W. Mason Street. 8-17-21.
