Jackson Magazine announced the 2017 winning local businesses at its annual Best of Jackson Awards reception at Ella Sharp Museum on March 1.
To determine this year winners, Jackson Magazine readers cast two sets of votes. Votes were made in the first round to determine the top three finalists in each category; then, voters made their selections among the finalists in November and December to choose the overall winner.
And the winners are …
Best Bank – Flagstar Bank
Best Beer and Wine Merchant – Kibby Cobb Liquor and Deli
Best Eye Care Practice – TLC Eyecare & Laser Center
Best Jeweler – Petersen Jewelers
Best Lawn Mowing Service – ABC Lawn Maintenance and Snow Plowing
Best Taco – Chilango’s
