The 83rd Annual Dinner of the Jackson Area Manufacturers Association, held January 13 at the Country Club of Jackson.
Awards were presented to:
Apprentices of the Year: James Curtis, Technique, Inc. and Louis Davis, Industrial Steel Treating
Student of the Year: Graham Macomber, Jackson Preparatory & Early College, LeMatic
Educator of the Year: Bill Pogue, Jackson Area Career Center Precision Machining instructor
Manufacturing Innovator of the Year Award: Dr. Salah Huwais, Versah LLC
JAMA Heritage Hall of Fame Award: Edward L. Cooper, founder of ELCo Enterprises
Manufacturer of the Year: Amanda Hutchings, President of Peak Manufacturing
Guest Speaker: Glenn Stevens, Executive Director, MICHauto and Vice President, Automotive and Mobility Initiatives, Detroit Regional Chamber of Commerce.
