The 82nd Annual Meeting of the Jackson Area Manufacturers Association was held this week at the Country Club of Jackson.  Awards were presented to:

Tyler Bretes, Student of the Year.  Tyler is a graduate of Concord High School.

Zach Rogers, Apprentice of the Year.  Zach began his career at Miller Tool & Die as an apprentice.

Dan Draper, Educator of the Year.  Dan is Assistant Principal at the Jackson Area Career Center and oversees the JAC3 program.

Jeff Vancalbergh, Production Saw & Machine, Manufacturer of the Year.  Jeff has been with Production Saw for 38 years.  Jeff led PS&M toward many accomplishments in 2018, including sales growth in excess of 20%.

Dr. M.J. McLaughlin and Russell E. Ward, Heritage Award.  The founders of McLaughlin Ward (now known as Wardcraft) were represented by their grandchildren in accepting the award.

Bill Rayl, President of JAMA announced a new award will be presented next year, the Peter F. Hurst Manufacturing & Innovation Award.  Nominations will be taken later this year.
