Jackson Area Manufacturers Association President Bill Rayl was invited to the White House last week to meet with President Obama and officials from the Labor and Commerce departments as part of a focus on re-training long-term unemployed Americans. Bill reported JAMA’s Academy for Manufacturing Careers was selected as a model for other communities to explore as they deal with under-trained unemployed individuals.
