Homer 28, Vandercook Lake 0: Matthew Melville and Carter Stiles each had hits for VCL.
Leslie 13, East Jackson 4: The Blackhawks scored eight times in the first three innings. Jackson Fossitt hit a home run and knocked in three runs for the Blackhawks. Adam Delano finished with one hit and two RBIs for the Trojans.
Leslie 15, East Jackson 0: The Trojans could only muster one hit in the contest – by Chris Holloway. Jackson Fossitt finished with two hits and an RBI and struck out 11 batters on the mound for the Blackhawks.
Grass Lake 5, Michigan Center 0: Walker McKibbin had three hits and knocked in two runs and Sal Vitale finished with three hits for Grass Lake. Collin Night earned the win for Grass Lake pitching a complete game and collected five strikeouts. Dylan Whitmill and Levi Layher each collected two hits for the Cardinals. Game two will be completed on Wednesday.

Manchester 15, Napoleon 0: The Pirates were no-hit in the contest.
Manchester 5, Napoleon 4: Christian Nykamp finished with two hits for Napoleon.
Tecumseh 12, Jackson 0: Cooper Alger had the only two hits for the Vikings.
Tecumseh 13, Jackson 5: Cooper Alger and Conor Bush finished with two hits apiece for the Vikings.
Mattawan 15, Western 1: The Panthers could only muster four hits in the non-conference matchup.
Columbia Central 4, Jonesville 3: The Golden Eagles scored three times in the final inning to pull out the victory. Chase Dukate finished with three this and Conor Rentfrow struck out 15 batters on the mound for CCHs. Lukas Calhoun had the key hit in the bottom of the seventh inning – a two-run singles. The two teams were tied at 3-all in the sixth inning according to both team’s GameChanger.

Addison 5, Hanover-Horton 3: The Panthers scored two runs in the top of the seventh inning to pull out the victory. Cameron Sherwood and Hunter Fox each had one hit and an RBI for the Comets.
Addison 7, Hanover-Horton 4: Jack Wooster finished with three hits for the Comets.
Softball
Homer 19, Vandercook Lake 0: Sildack had the only hit for the Jayhawks in the loss.
Homer 15, Vandercook Lake 0: The Trojans scored 12 runs in the second inning. C. Riddle recorded the only hit for the Jayhawks.
Leslie 16, East Jackson 1: Ava Bradford had two hits – including a homer – and knocked in two runs in the contest. She was also the winning pitcher with nine strikeouts. Emily Uyttenhove and Addison Hendricks collected one hit each for EJHS.
Leslie 20, East Jackson 4: Addison Hendricks finished with one hit and two RBIs for East Jackson. Jalen Fossitt collected three hits – including a home run – and knocked in seven of the runs for Leslie.
Grass Lake 15, Michigan Center 0: Bree Salts had three hits – including a home run – and knocked in five runs for the Warriors. Olivia Turner collected three hits and finished with four RBIs for Grass Lake. Mo Conrad pitched a no-hitter on the mound for Grass Lake with four strikeouts.
Grass Lake 18, Michigan Center 1: The Warriors proved they were the cream the crop in the Cascades Conference. Michigan Center was undefeated heading into the doubleheader. Emily Brown and Olivia Turner homered for the Warriors. F. Pomerville had a hit and RBI for Michigan Center.

Lumen Christi 1, Gabriel Richard 0 (9 innings): Bella Wrozek earned the pitching win for the Titans pitching all nine innings and striking out 14 batters.
Lumen Christi 14, Gabriel Richard 4: Bree Okoniewski and Audrey Clark each finished with two hits and an RBI for Lumen Christi. Okoniewski earned the pitching win with nine strikeouts in six innings.
Napoleon 14, Manchester 10: Hayden Rendall hit a home run and knocked in two runs for the Pirates. Allison Dillay finished with two hits and three RBIs for Napoleon.
Napoleon 10, Manchester 4: Maggie Beer finished with three hits and Kaitlyn Fall struck out 12 batters on the mound for Napoleon in earning the Cascades Conference sweep.
Columbia Central 6, Jonesville 1: Gianna Evans had two hits and knocked in four runs for the Golden Eagles. Hailey Wetherby pitched a complete game and struck out 15 batters in the process.

Columbia Central 7, Jonesville 1: Camden Knapp struck out 10 batters in earning the win for the Golden Eagles. Bri Boone and Gracie Keller each collected two hits for CCHS.
Hanover-Horton 16, Addison 0: Alexyn DuBois struck out eight batters and pitched a no-hitter for the Comets. Dani Riggs and Mayson Scally hit home runs in the contest for Hanover-Horton.
Hanover-Horton 17, Addison 0: Hanover-Horton’s Alexyn DuBois pitched a second no-hitter in game two. Dani Riggs hit another home run and finished with three hits. Amierah Jarret also collected three hits for the Comets.
Girls Soccer
Michigan Center 4. Jonesville 2: The Cardinals scored three times in the second half to earn the come-from-behind win. Cecelia Scaife scored three times in the second half and Ayla Marr scored her first goal of the year in the first half. Abbie Hess finished with two saves in net for MCHS.
Hanover-Horton 7, Napoleon 1: Lily Eagen scored the only goal for Napoleon with the assist going to Kelsey Chapman.

Boys Golf
Western at Saline Invitational: Western High School finished sixth shooting a team total of 333 as Eric Bonser and Andrew Boldt each shot 82s to lead the Panthers.
Eaton Rapids at Northwest: The Mounties won the meet with 158. Jake Brafford finished with 36, J.J. Miller carded a 38, and Cody Rowe finished with a 39 to lead Northwest.
Concord Tri-Meet: Hillsdale won the tri-meet with 199, Homer shot 228, and Concord posted only three scores. Lleyton Bauman finished with a 61 to lead the Yellowjackets.

Jackson Christian hosts SCAA: The Royals finished third as a team with a score of 193 at Ella Sharp Park Golf Course. Nate Locke scored a 43, Anderson Jacobs shot a 48, and Aidan Earnst carded a 49 for the Royals.
Girls Tennis
Western 7, Pennfield 1: The Panther improved to 10-3 overall, 2-0 in the Interstate-8 Conference. Western won 48-of-50 points in doubles play.
Columbia Central 8, Bronson 0: The Golden Eagles improved to 4-0 on the season with the victory. Ayrianna Gaskill earned a hard-fought 6-3 and 7-5 win at No. 1 singles. CCHS went 4-0 in doubles blanking Bronson 6-0 and 6-0 in all four matches.
Harper Creek 7, Northwest 1: Emma Flynn earned a win at No. 2 singles for the Mounties.

Men’s Golf
Jackson College at Muskegon: The Jets finished fifth at the Muskegon Jamboree on Monday. Jackson shot 339 led by Michael Klintworth with a second-place finish scoring 75. Isaac Anuszkiewicz finished with an 84, Ted Trujillo shot an 87, and Cooper Johnston and Grant Davis shot 93s. The Jets will participate in the Montcalm Community College jamboree Friday at 10 a.m.
