Boys Basketball
Bronson 48, Concord 42: The Yellow Jackets had its 15-game winning streak in the Big Eight Conference snapped at home Thursday. Connor Stevens led Concord with 19 points and Jett Smith added 15 points. Kamron Brackett led Bronson with 25 points. Concord is now 2-1 in the Big 8 and 3-2 overall for the season.
Waldron 57, Jackson Christian 46: The Royals lost at home in conference play. Christian Guerrero scored 15 points and J.D. Locke and Aaden Breton added 11 points apiece for Jackson Christian.

Girls Basketball
Columbia Central 55, Homer 34: The Golden Eagles earned a Cascades Conference win on the road Thursday.
Leslie 54, East Jackson 30: The Blackhawks improved to 3-0 on the season with the Cascades Conference win. East Jackson is 2-1 overall so far this season.
Hanover-Horton 67, Vandercook Lake 8: The Comets scored an easy win at home Thursday night. Three players scored in double digits for HHHS as Maggie Soper scored 14 points, Aly Stroede tallied 11 points, and Molly Soper added 10 points. Amelia Connor scored six points to lead Vandercook Lake.
Grass Lake 59, Napoleon 7: Reese Lape scored 18 points and Kate Starkey added 16 points for Grass Lake in the road win. The Warriors are now 2-2 overall, 2-0 in the Cascades Conference. Elise Bullock finished with six assists for the Warriors. Emma Darnell led Napoleon with five points in the contest.
Jackson Christian 42, Waldron 24: Rennie Huff scored 22 points and Madi Conrad added five points and six steals for Jackson Christian.
Michigan Center 65, Manchester 3: The Cardinals remained undefeated on the season with an easy win in the conference Thursday night. McKynley Gaddy led MCHS with 13 points, Mayrese Vieau scored 12 points and created seven steals, and Sophia Allen scored 10 points. The Cardinals are now 4-0 overall, 2-0 in the conference.

Skyline Tri-meet: Jackson High School defeated Chelsea and Skyline in a tri-meet at Skyline.

Men’s Basketball
Jackson College 96, Olivet Reserves 52: The Jets were on the opposite side of a blowout win at home Thursday night. Eleven of the 12 players for JC scored in the contest led by Savonn Campbell with 17 points, Cooper Johnston scored 15 points, and Kamerin Carter tallied 12 points. JC is now 2-8 overall and will host Kellogg Community College Saturday at 3 p.m.
Women’s Basketball
Parkland College 77, Jackson College 70: The Jets fell at home in basketball action Thursday night. Harmonie Bolton led Jackson with 22 points and Emily Carbajal and Zoie Bamm each scored 11 points in the contest. Jackson will host Kellogg Community College for a 1 p.m. tipoff Saturday.
