Boys Basketball

East Jackson 64, Homer 47: The Trojans won its home opener Tuesday against Homer.

Columbia Central 44, Leslie 37: Derek Sanders had a big night with 25 points and Jackson Gorton finished with 11 for CCHS. Conner Marciniak had 12 points and Jayden Colby added nine points for Leslie.

Grass Lake 53, Hanover-Horton 48: Brayden Lape scored 16 points and Jacob Collins added 14 for the Warriors.

Jackson Christian 56, Camden-Frontier 42: Christian Guerrero scored 19 points and J.D. Locke added 18 points in the road win for the Royals.

Jackson 56, Lansing Catholic 50: The Vikings improved to 2-1 on the season with the victory. Tre Pierce led Jackson with 16 points and Berkley Drummond added 12 points in the win.

Napoleon 40, Vandercook Lake 29: The Pirates won at home in a Cascades Conference matchup.

Mason 55, Northwest 47: The Mounties fell to 0-2 on the season with the non-conference loss.

Springport 62, Hillsdale 44: The Spartans won its home opener against Hillsdale Tuesday.

Adrian 53, Western 41: The Panthers lost on the road in non-conference action.

Michigan Center 59, Jonesville 46: Tre Collins and Spencer Berkeypile both scored 20 points to lead the Cardinals to the win.          

Girls Basketball

Marshall 47, B.C. Central 42: Marshall High School opens the season with a non-conference win.

Concord 58, Hanover-Horton 33: Hannah Stimer led Concord with 18 point and Grace Thorrez added 16 in the rivalry game against the Comets. Morgan Kuhl scored 17 points to lead Hanover-Horton.

Lansing Christian 37, Jackson Christian 9: The Royals lost at home Tuesday against LCHS.

Napoleon 38, Dansville 29: The Pirates opened the season with a non-conference road win.

Mason 56, Northwest 31: The Mounties lost a non-conference matchup at home to open the season.

Boys Bowling

Napoleon 30, Manchester 0: Peyton Thorne rolled a 443 series and Ethan Rose bowled a 201 game to pace Napoleon.

Addison 26, Columbia Central 4: Christopher Holcomb led all scorers with a career high 214 game for CCHS.

Jonesville 24, Vandercook Lake 6: Bruer Gieski finished with a 449 series to lead VCL.

Girls Bowling

Columbia Central 27, Addison 3:  Kayleigh Molnar led the CCHS girls with a high game of 172 while Alexis Henry rolled a 168 game.

Vandercook Lake 24, Jonesville 6: Mariah Rodriguez finished with a 314 series to lead the Jayhawks.
