Girls Basketball
Concord 67. Hillsdale Academy 38: Maria Stevens scored 14 of her game-high 16 points in the first half to lead Concord. All five starters were in double figures as Hannah Stimer scored 14 points and Bradie Lehman, Cece Barrett, and Grace Thorrez all scored 12 points for Concord (15-3).

Pittsford 51, Jackson Christian 11: Shaina McCombs finished with 11 rebounds for the Royals.
Boys Bowling
D-2 Regionals: Jake Brafford and Bryce Thomas of Northwest High School qualified for the Division 2 state meet by finishing in the top seven at the regional at Royal Scot. Brafford finished with a 1,190 total for six games and Thomas rolled 1,184 for the Mounties. Kenyon Buckner of Jackson placed 13th scoring 1,110 and Buster Marr of Western was 14th with 1,108. The top seven individuals advance to the Division 2 state finals at Century Bowl in Waterford.
Girls Bowling
D-2 Regionals: Northwest High School freshman Casey Jahr placed fourth to qualify for the state tournament. She finished the six-game qualifying with a score of 1,085. Madason McDonald of Western finished 20th (890) and Jasmine Glaspie placed 29th (853) for Jackson.
College Athletic Events
Women’s Basketball

Jackson College 62, Mott CC 54: The Jets earned its 20th win of the season with a road win in the MCCAA. Kaylona Butler scored 17 points and hauled in 11 rebounds for Jackson College. All 10 players scored for Jackson College in the contest. Jackson is now 8-2 in the conference and travel to Schoolcraft Saturday for a 1 p.m. kickoff.
Spring Arbor 74, Bethel 52: Spring Arbor outscored Bethel 19-9 in the first quarter of the road win. Alize Tripp scored 21 points, Alana Nelson added 20 points, and Alex Long finished with 13 points for Spring Arbor. The Cougars are 22-5 overall, 13-4 in the Crossroads League.
Men’s Basketball
Mott CC 79, Jackson College 76: Brayden Pearson scored 23 points and Jo Coleman added 15 points for Jackson College. Xavier Ford-Belton scored 13 points and pulled down a team-high 10 rebounds for the Jets. Jackson College is now 11-15 overall, 3-9 in the MCCAA. JC will travel to Schoolcraft College Saturday for a 3 p.m. start.
Spring Arbor 89, Bethel 87: The Cougars scored 51 points in the second half to pull out the road win in the Crossroads League. All five starters scored in double digits for SAU as Gabe Newhof scored 24 points, Trey Cottingham added 23 points, Travis Grayson finished with 17 points, Kevyn Robertson tallied 13 points, and Dante Favor scored 10 points. SAU is now 14-13 overall, 7-10 in the Crossroads League.
