Concord 51, Reading 44: The Yellowjackets kept pace in the Big Eight Conference with a win to remain tied with Springport for the conference lead. Bradie Lehman finished with 16 points, Cece Barrett scored 15 points, and Grace Thorrez added 12 points for Concord (16-3 overall, 9-1 Big 8).
Jackson Christian 59, Tekonsha 27: Rennie Huff scored 25 points and Ella Boll added 17 points and 11 rebounds for the Royals.
Springport 58, Maple Valley 1: Chloey Speer finished with a team-high 17 points and six steals, Hope Overweg finished with 10 points, Alyssa Cooley tallied six points and 12 rebounds, and Ciarra Brock scored eight points for Springport. The Spartans will host Concord Tuesday at 7 p.m. for first place in the Big Eight Conference.
Northwest 51, Pennfield 32: Mara Mitchell scored 20 points, Ashley Weller added 17 points, and Brooke Grant scored five points for Northwest. The Mounties finished 11-1 in Interstate-Eight Conference play, good for first place.

Michigan Center 65, Homer 50: McKynley Gadded scored 11 points with seven assists, Sam Wynn scored 13 points, and Hailey Mees finished with 12 points for MCHS. Julia Reynolds grabbed 11 rebounds for the Cardinals (18-3 overall, 13-3 Cascades).
Bowling
Division 3 at Royal Scot: Grass Lake finished sixth (2,976), Napoleon was seventh (2,900), Columbia Central placed eighth (2,827), and Michigan Center was 10th (2,789) Thursday at the team competition. In the singles’ competition, Reichen Clark of Napoleon was the only qualifier in the top seven with a score of 1,182. Logan Torcolacci of Grass Lake was 14th (1,107), Peyton Thorne of Napoleon finished 16th (1,095), Aaden Burdge of Michigan Center placed 26th (1,038), and Columbia Central bowler David Bielby was 46th (958) for the six-game qualifying.

Division 4 at JAX 60 (Jackson): Lumen Christi Catholic High School finished third in the team competition at JAX 60 with a total of 2,918. East Jackson was fifth (2,728), Hanover-Horton was ninth (2,432) and Vandercook Lake placed 12th (2,180) for eight Baker games and two individual games.

Bowling
Division 3 at Royal Scot (Lansing): Columbia Central won its first regional title in girls’ bowling with a total of 2,612 for eight Baker games and two individual games. Grass Lake finished fourth with 2,442 and Michigan Center placed sixth at 2,393. Alexis Henry of CCHS continued its strong weekend by qualifying for the state finals after finishing fourth with a total of 1,101. Grass Lake freshman Marielle Schafran of Grass Lake just missed a qualifying spot finished eighth (1,023), Sydney Gallagher of Napoleon was ninth (1,020), and Kylee McKee of Michigan Center was 15th (895). The top two teams and top seven individuals advanced to the state bowling finals March 1, 2 at JAX 60 in Jackson.
Division 4 at JAX 60 (Jackson): Lumen Christi finished fourth (2,344), Hanover-Horton was fifth (2,317), East Jackson placed sixth (2,141), and Vandercook Lake was seventh (1,782) at JAX 60 in Jackson Friday morning. The top two teams (Jonesville and Hudson) advanced to the state finals next weekend.

Spring Arbor 5, Georgetown 0: Josh Murphy and Ryan Ruhlman combined on a three-hitter for SAU. Braydon Gregory finished with two RBIs and Aiden Brunin and Brennan Moran tallied two hits apiece for Spring Arbor (3-5).
Spring Arbor 12, Georgetown 2: Spring Arbor scored five times in the second inning of the win. Bryce Richey hit a home run and knocked in four runs for SAU.
