Boys District Basketball

Division 1 at Ann Arbor Huron

Ann Arbor Huron 76, Northwest 35: The Mounties conclude the season with a 12-12 overall record. Northwest won four-of-five contests at the end of the season including a district victory over Dexter.

Division 2 at Western High School

Onsted 62, Western 60: Western finishes the season with a 17-7 record and an Interstate-8 Conference title. Ben Parrott led Western with 20 points and Aiden Barrett scored 12 points in the contest. Western was outscored 18-13 in the first quarter including a three-quarter bomb at the buzzer for Onsted. But the Panthers fought back and outscored the Wildcats 20-15 in the final eight minutes of action. Ayden Davis scored 22 points and pulled down 18 rebounds to lead Onsted. The Wildcats face Adrian in the final at Western High School Friday beginning at 7 p.m.

Division 3 at Concord High School

Jonesville 51, Concord 49: The two former Big Eight Conference foes met at CHS Wednesday in the Division 3 district semifinal. Mekhi Wingfield led Concord with 29 points. The loss ends the successful season for the Yellowjackets who went undefeated in Big 8 play and finished with a 17-6 overall record.

Hanover-Horton 76, Addison 58: Logan Blackledge scored 22 points leading the Comets to the district final Friday at 7 p.m. against Jonesville. Kaiden Henry scored 13 points and Luke Soper finished with 12 points for Hanover-Horton. Jaxen Sword led Addison (7-17) with 22 points in the Division 3 district semifinal.

Division 3 at East Jackson High School

Napoleon 77, Springport 51: DeVonta Habern was the star of the game for Napoleon with 30 points. Braydon Hawes finished with 14 points and Tucker Wiginton added 13 points for the Spartans. The Pirates advance to play Lumen Christi in the district final at East Jackson Friday at 7 p.m.

Lumen Christi 59, Michigan Center 55: The two teams were tied at 29-all at halftime and the Titans earned a comeback win in the final quarter. Michigan Center led by as many as seven points in the second half. Luke Tropea finished with 21 points and Kasen Burgess added 18 for the Titans. Michigan Center was led by Tre Collins with 15 points along with 12 from both Hunter Clemons and Jayden Watson. Michigan Center finishes the season with a 20-4 record and a share of the Cascades Conference Eastern Conference championship with Napoleon. Lumen Christi heads to the district final with a 19-4 record.

Division 3 at Ypsilanti Arbor Prep

Ann Arbor Greenhills 62, Grass Lake 51: Grass Lake High School finishes the season with an 11-13 record having won three of its last five games of the year. Greenhills with face Ypsilanti Arbor Prep in the finals following a win over Manchester in the district semifinal.

Division 4 at Waldron High School

Pittsford 52, Jackson Christian 36: Isaac Lanham scored 14 points and Aaden Breton scored seven points and pulled down 12 rebounds for Jackson Christian. The Royals finish the regular season with a 12-12 record. Pittsford advances to play the host school in the district final Friday at 7 p.m.

Waldron 42, Vandercook Lake 34: Vandercook Lake concludes its season with a 4-20 record.

Men’s Basketball

Huntington 71, Spring Arbor 68: Huntington hit a 3-point shot at the buzzer to pull out the win. Gabe Newhof and Travis Grayson each scored 24 points for SAU (15-14).
