Boys Basketball
Hanover-Horton 88, Addison 35: The Comets scored 31 points in the third quarter of the win. Luke Soper scored 27 points and Brayton Sayles and Jerry Linabury each scored 14 points for Hanover-Horton.
Columbia Central 46, Jonesville 27: Derek Sanders scored 17 points and Jack Gorton added eight points for CCHS. Caleb Blonde finished with 14 points for Jonesville.
East Jackson 44, Napoleon 40: The Trojans won on the road in Cascades Conference action.
Grass Lake 57, Manchester 49: Brayden Lape scored 24 points, Jacob Collins added 17 points, and Sal Vitale finished with six points to lead Grass Lake.
Michigan Center 55, Leslie 32: Travis Collins scored 15 points and Tre Collins added a dozen points leading the Cardinals to the victory. Michigan Center exploded for 30 points in the second quarter. Conner Marciniak scored 14 points to lead Leslie.
Vandercook Lake 53, Homer 39: The Jayhawks have won two of its last three games in boys basketball. Todd Atkins of VCL nearly recorded a triple double posting 17 points, nine rebounds, and eight blocks. Chris Jimenez added 16 points for the Jayhawks.
Girls Basketball
Concord 67, Athens 28: The Yellow Jackets earned a Big Eight Conference win on the road improving to 3-1 on the season. Cieara Barrett scored 21 points, Bradie Lehman finished with 18 points, and Grace Thorrez tallied 14 points for Concord.
Jackson Christian 44, Colon 32: Rennie Huff finished with 24 points and six steals for Jackson Christian. Johannah Loew added 11 points and Shaina McCombs collected 14 rebounds in the win for JCHS.
Lumen Christi 60, Jackson 28: The Titans earned a rivalry win at Jackson Wednesday night. Kenna Hunt scored 14 points and Lily Ganton and Erin O’Dowd each scored nine points in the win for Lumen Christi. Kaylee Arnett scored 16 points to lead Jackson.

Wrestling
Addison Quad: Napoleon High School defeated Homer 54-24 and East Jackson 47-30 at Addison Wednesday night. The Trojans also lost to Addison 60-12 in the quad meet. Earning pins for Napoleon against East Jackson were Jamarcus Goodloe (285 pounds), Logan Hartman (138), Zack Bamm (175), Rylan Lovett (190), and Dallas Smith (215). Roberto Mireles (126) and McKenna Worthing (132) earned pins for East Jackson in the Napoleon match.
Concord Quad: Concord High School defeated Athens and lost to Bellevue in wrestling action Wednesday. Nate Fritz (138) and Jordyan Metcalf (144) earned wins against Bellevue in contested matches.
Columbia Central Quad: The Golden Eagles lost to Leslie 61-16 but defeated Jonesville 53-23 in a home quad. Jordan Cromwell and Max Videto went 2-0 for the Golden Eagles on the night.
Grass Lake Quad: Michigan Center and Hanover-Horton went 2-0 on the night. The Cardinals defeated Grass Lake 42-23 and Vandercook Lake 48-12. Carter Mikolajczyk had a pair of pins for the Cardinals in the win. Michigan Center recorded five pins in the victory over VCL. The Comets defeated Vandercook Lake 48-12 and Grass Lake 36-27. Hanover-Horton is 5-0 overall for the season and 3-0 in the Cascades Conference. Reed Matthews, Gavin Berkeypile, Wyatt Ashworth, Slade Feller, and Austyn Hocter were 2-0 for Hanover-Horton on the night.
Jackson at A.A. Huron: The Vikings lost 59-21 to Bedford but came back to defeat Pinckney 60-24. Zander Resor and Shea Haehnle both scored a pair of pins for Jackson on the night.
Northwest at Hudson Quad: Northwest lost to Hudson 54-15 and Madison 41-32 in non-conference action at Hudson. Blaine Anspaugh (138) earned a pair of pins for Northwest.
Western at Hillsdale Quad: The Panthers tied Hillsdale 36-all but lost in a tiebreaker. Elijah Crist (132), Titan Parker (165), Adam Carlson (175), Josh Corts (190), and Hezekiah Gin (106) earned pins for the Panthers in the match against Hillsdale.
Hockey
Jackson United 3, Skyline 1: Brennan Forward, Brennan Davis, and Hayden Haynes scored for JU in the home win. Jonah Hughes earned the win in goal for JU with 10 saves.
