Boys Basketball Quarterfinal
At Ypsilanti Lincoln
Riverview Gabriel Richard 58, Lumen Christi 44: The Titans fell in the Division 3 quarterfinal round at Lincoln Consolidated High School Tuesday. The Titans finished the season with a 22-5 record while Gabriel Richard improved to 23-3 and advanced to the Breslin Center on Thursday in the state semifinal round. It is the third time the two teams have met this season with LC winning the first one and GR taking the last two. Timmy Crowley scored 13 points and pulled down 10 rebounds and Kadale Williams finished with 11 points and two steals for the Titans.

Softball
Spring Arbor 5, Taylor University 3: The Cougars scored twice in the ninth inning to pull out the win. Emmalee Hamp finished with four hits for SAU (9-5).
Taylor University 7, Spring Arbor 6: The Cougars scored four times in the final inning but could not catch Taylor. Lexi Cain recorded three hits and Summer Ambler knocked in a pair of runs for SAU (9-6).
Baseball
Spring Arbor 9, Grace Christian 6: The Cougars scored seven times in the third inning against Grace. Jake Zeeb and Seth Clothier each collected a pair of RBIs for SAU (7-12).
Women’s Basketball
Jackson College women’s basketball earned the 18th seed in the National Junior College Athletic Association Division II National Basketball Championship starting next week. The Jets will play at 4 p.m. Monday against Lakeland. All games will be played at the Leggett & Platt Athletic Center in Joplin, Mo.
