Girls Regional Basketball Finals

Division 3 at Onsted

Ypsilanti Arbor Prep 56, Columbia Central 28: The Golden Eagles finished the season at 16-9 and a fourth consecutive district title. CCHS lost in the regional final at Onsted High School Wednesday night. Arbor Prep is 22-4 and headed to the quarterfinal round at Dansville next Tuesday at 7 p.m. to face New Lothrop. CCHS was led by Briar Rose with eight points and Cece Slat with six points. 

Division 3 at Leslie

New Lothrop 42, Michigan Center 37: The Cardinals end the season with a 22-4 record and a district title. MCHS lost in the MHSAA Division 3 regional final at Leslie High School Wednesday night. Michigan Center was led by Samantha Wynn with 14 points and Hailey Mees added 12 points. New Lothrop (20-7) advances to the quarterfinal round to play Arbor Prep next Tuesday. 

Division 4 at Mendon

Mendon 47, Concord 43: Concord finished the season with a 20-6 record and a district title following the loss at Mendon. Bradie Lehman led Concord with 14 points and Cece Barrett added 12 points for Concord. Mendon (23-3) advances to the D-4 quarterfinal Tuesday at 7 p.m. at Gobles High School facing Fowler.

Baseball

Jackson College 13, Siena Heights University JV 1: Jared Kramp drove in five runs with three hits for the Jets. Ethan Ianni earned the pitching win giving up only two hits, striking out nine, and zero runs allowed in 4.1 innings for Jackson (7-9). The Jets will face Concord in Ann Arbor Friday beginning at 2 p.m.
