Softball

Jackson College 21, Marian University 0: Karson Fairbanks was the big hitter with three hits – including a home run – and six RBIs in the first game of the doubleheader. Brooke Owen, Addison Bobbio, and Ashley Sturgill each recorded three hits in the contest for Jackson College. The Jets stole 11 bases in the contest. Lauren Keller earned the win striking out five batters in five innings. JC is now 7-7 on the season with the doubleheader sweep on the road. Jackson College is scheduled to face Glen Oaks Saturday beginning at 2 p.m. for a home doubleheader.

Jackson 14, Marian 0: The Jets earned the sweep scoring five times in the fourth inning. Brooke Owen and Sydney Schuler each finished with three hits and three RBIs in the contest. Rayannah Burke earned the pitching win scattering seven hits and striking out seven batters on the mound for Jackson College.
