Quincy 5, Jackson 4: Zander Resor finished with three hits in the contest for Jackson. Connor Bush added two hits and Eric Lopez stole three bases for the Vikings.
Lumen Christi 18, Springport 1: The Titans opened the Al Glick Classic Tournament with a win over Springport. Brodie Gregory drove in four runs on two hits for the Titans. Nate Hinkley and Timmy Crowley each recorded a pair of hits and two RBIs for Lumen Christi. Travis Riehle finished with one hit and an RBI for Springport.
Lumen Christi 6, Onsted 5: The Titans scored a run in the bottom of the eighth inning on a single by Ben Gaston to pull out the win. Gaston, Timmy Crowley, and Brodie Gregory each finished with two hits for LCCHS.
Springport 16, Reading 2: Travis Riehle finished with three hits and knocked in two runs as the Spartans got healthy on Reading pitching. The Spartans finished with 11 hits in the contest. Hunter Miller and Jake Kregel each had a pair of hits for Springport (19-8).
Lumen Christi 11, Quincy 2: The Titans scored 10 times in the final three inning to pull out the victory. Nate Hinkley finished with three hits and three RBIs and Brodie Gregory tallied three hits for LCCHS. Lumen Christi earned the Al Glick Classic Tournament with a 3-0 record.
Softball
Hanover-Horton at Michigan Challenge Tournament: Hanover-Horton went 1-2 on the day earning a win in the team’s first game, 3-1. Alexyn DuBois hit a home run and drove in one run in the victory. The Comets lost game two 8-4 and game three 13-1. They face Airport in a game Sunday at 8 a.m.
Lumen Christi 20, Jackson 0: Bree Okoniewski had three hits and knocked in two runs for the Titans. She also pitched three shutout innings on the mound. Lily Ganton recorded two doubles and drove in three runs for LCCHS.
Lumen Christi 6, Onsted 1: Bella Wrozek struck out 13 batters on the mound for Lumen Christi in the win. She also added two hits at the plate. Bree Okoniewski finished with two hits and Codi Ruge had a key single that drove in two runs for the Titans. Lumen Christi improved to 20-9 with the win in the Al Glick Classic in Jackson.

Region 12 NJCAA Tournament
Kellogg 16, Jackson 0: Kellogg Community College left little doubt who was the best team in this Region 12 tournament. Kellogg Community College swept all three games in the tournament to earn the Region 12 title. They scored seven runs in the second inning in the championship game to break open a close game. Jackson College could only muster three hits in the contest – one by Marcus Patton, Caden Oliver, and Logan Christophel. Henry Stempky limited Jackson to three hits and striking out three batters. Jackson finishes the season with a 32-21 record and a share of the Eastern Division title in the Michigan Community College Athletic Association.
