Baseball

Lumen Christi 5, Quincy 1: Ryan Walicki finished with four hits and Paul Sattler, Kash Kalahar, and Brodie Gregory tallied two hits apiece for Lumen Christi. Timmy Crowley, Nate Hinkley, and Wes Learned combined on a two-hitter for LCCHS.

Lumen Christi 14, Quincy 0: Ben Gaston finished with three hits and four RBIs to lead the Titans. Kash Kalahar and Jack Fitzpatrick each finished with two hits and two RBIs for LCCHS. Gabe King earned the pitching win allowing no hits and striking out four batters in three innings pitched for the Titans (23-10).

Track and Field

MITCA D-3 Team Finals: Napoleon High School finished sixth (1,347.5) and Springport placed 15th (878) at Clare High School. Holden Van Poppel of Napoleon won the 110-meter hurdles and was second in the 200-meter dash (22.98), Eli Dyer of Springport finished second in the 300-meter hurdles (40.2), Napoleon won the 1,600-meter relay (3:32.03), and DeVonta Habern of Napoleon took first place in the long jump (21-11.75).
