Jackson 93, Adrian 93: The two teams ended the meet tied at 93-all Thursday. Isabelle Ortiz won the 100-yard backstroke (1:05) and the 100-yard butterfly (1:04) for Jackson. Gillian Snyder also won the 500-yard freestyle in 6:00.

College Athletic Events

Cross Country

Jackson College at Siena Heights: Nathan Blondke finished 60th (30:17) and Noah Blondke was 62nd (30:26) for Jackson College in the 8K at Heritage Park in Adrian. In the women’s 6K run, Jessica Furman finished 60th (20:16), Sheilyn Rayas placed 69th (33:56), and Sarah Hoop was 70th (34:36) for the Jets. JC will participate in the Jayhawk Invitational Saturday, Oct. 12.

Nathan Blondke of Jackson College finished 60th in 30 minutes, 17 seconds at the Siena Heights University Invitational Friday.

Spring Arbor at Gans Creek: The Cougars finished fourth out of 26 teams in Missouri in the men’s event. SAU placed 16th of 26 in the women’s race.

Men’s Golf

Jackson at Delta College Invitational: The Jets finished with a team score of 332 at Bay Valley Golf Course at the Delta College Invitational. Michael Klintworth led JC with a 77 and Eric Bonser added an 83.

Spring Arbor at LTU Fall Invitational: SAU won the event over six other teams.

Women’s Golf

Spring Arbor at LTU Fall Invitational: Spring Arbor was second out of six teams at the event. Brooklyn Daniels of SAU finished tied for third at nine over par.

Men’s Tennis

Spring Arbor 5, Indiana Wesleyan 2: Spring Arbor is now 4-4 overall, 3-4 in Crossroads League play. Aziz Madatov won a pair of matches for SAU.
