Circuit Court Judge John McBain explained the latest court proceedings regarding the City of Jackson’s stormwater lawsuit. The judge ruled the city cannot impose a tax in order to refund a fee that was ruled illegal. McBain responded to comments made earlier in the week by Jackson Mayor Jason Smith that were critical of the ruling.
