Michigan Community Credit Union is honored to be a part of Childrenz Challenge for a second year. Childrenz Challenge is a muddy obstacle course designed for children ages 4-13 years of age. There will be two courses within the event; ages 4-8 will compete on a 1 ½ mile course, and ages 9-13 will compete on a 2 mile course.

Michigan Community Credit Union is not only a proud sponsor of the event, but is also holding a contest at the completion of the muddy obstacle course with their High Five for $5,000 challenge. All the participants of the event are encouraged to visit Michigan Community Credit Union’s booth and give a muddy high five on their giant white board. The school with the most muddy high fives will be awarded $5,000 from the Credit Union.

“We are so thrilled to be a part of an event that promotes a fun and active lifestyle for children. My son participated last year and loved it. He is really looking forward to doing it again this year,” said Tina Hamilton, CEO of Michigan Community Credit Union. “Michigan Community Credit Union is a big supporter of local schools, and we are excited to award this prize money!”

Childrenz Challenge’s purpose is to create a fun and entertaining event for children and their families, support the community, and contribute to local charities. Childrenz Challenge is August 22, 2015 at Michigan International Speedway. For more information, and to register, please visit childrenzchallenge.com.
