Nine area high school football teams will make the Michigan High School Athletic Association playoffs.
The MHSAA posted playoff points earlier today (Sunday) and the top 32 in each division earn playoff positions.
Jackson finished 32nd in Division 3 with a 4-5 record.
Western is 16th in Division 4 with a 6-3 overall record this season.
Lumen Christi moved up to Division 6 this season and is the No. 2 seed heading into the playoffs.
Division 7 could have an interesting district – Cascades Conference 2 – with Hanover-Horton (9), Leslie (14), and Napoleon (17) all in the top 32.
Manchester (12), Springport (17), and Addison (28) could also make up a local district.
The MHSAA will show the pairings today at 4:30 p.m. on channel 31.
Stay tuned to JTV.TV for pairings later tonight.
