Michigan Reports 2,230* Coronavirus Cases Today, State Total Now 876,854

(May 17, 2021 3:27 PM) Michigan reported 2,230* coronavirus (COVID-19) positive test cases today, with the state reported total now at 876,854.

Michigan is reporting 20 COVID-19-related deaths today with the state total at 18,6278. 

*Note on cases (05/17/21): Today’s daily case count represents new referrals of confirmed cases to the MDSS since Saturday, May 15th.  Over the two days, Sunday and Monday, the average number of new confirmed cases is 1,115 per day.
