Michigan Reports 61,235* Coronavirus Cases, State Total Now 1,568,573

(January 3, 2022 3:28 PM)  Michigan reported 61,235* coronavirus (COVID-19) positive test cases today, with the state reported total now at 1,568,573.

Michigan is reporting 298** COVID-19-related deaths today with the state total at 27,286.  

*Note on cases (01/03/2022): Today’s daily case count represents new referrals of confirmed cases to the MDSS since the last web update report.  Over the past five days (Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and Monday), the average number of new confirmed cases is 12,247 per day.

State Cumulative Total of Recovered COVID-19 Cases (as of 12/29/21): 1,284,015.
