(January 21, 2026 1:50 PM ET) Northwest Community Schools announced that the Northwest High School Choir, Vocal Dimension, has been selected to perform at the Michigan School Vocal Music Association (MSVMA) Choral Hour during the 2026 Michigan Music Conference (MMC). The performance will take place on Friday, January 23 at 3:00 p.m. in Grand Rapids, Michigan.
Each year, choirs from across the state submit recordings to be evaluated through a highly competitive blind panel review process, ensuring selections are based solely on musical excellence. Being chosen for this honor highlights the choir’s exceptional talent, discipline, and commitment to artistic achievement.
The Michigan Music Conference is widely recognized as the premier music education event in the state, bringing together thousands of educators, students, and professionals to celebrate and advance the performing arts.
