(November 18, 2020 4:41 PM) New COVID-19 mitigation orders from the Michigan Department of Health & Human Services will not drastically change how the Jackson District Library operates toward patrons and users. JDL Takeout services and public computer access is still available at a majority of JDL locations.

You can access public computers or wi-fi for 45 minutes per day and can continue to use JDL Takeout services to check out books, movies, and more. Check out the schedule for your favorite JDL location here.

Whether it’s simply picking up a novel you’ve been waiting for, a fall blockbuster to curb your movie appetite, or attending one of our many virtual programs, the Jackson District Library is here to serve you.

For those who might need help deciding, the staff can help point you in the right direction.

The library’s most popular online resources are Kanopy, Hoopla, and Overdrive, which can be used to access streaming movies, e-books and audiobooks, and magazines, respectively
