Provide residents with routine daily assisted living care in accordance with our mission statement, established procedures, and as may be directed by your supervisors. Such care will be delivered with an emphasis on the value of providing quality customer service to all residents, family members, co-workers, volunteers, visitors and other service professionals.

Pay rate:  $13.50 – $14

The Resident Aides are the foundation of our assisted living facility. You will be responsible for making sure our residents are provided with the highest quality of care, compassion and respect.

Skills and Knowledge

Able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.

Possess the ability to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies/personnel and the general public.

Function independently and have flexibility, personal integrity, and the ability to work effectively with older adults, personnel, and support organizations

High School Diploma or equivalent.

Excellent customer service skills and a desire to work with the elderly with a commitment to delivering Excellent, Passionate, Innovative care!

Team player, dedicated to doing what it takes to support your team members and get the job done.

Regular, consistent attendance is essential to meet resident needs.

Excellent health and personal hygiene habits.

Primary Job Functions

Use gait belt as appropriate for transfers

You will perform care in accordance with individual care plans. Bathing and all activities of daily living related care, such as skin care, hair care, preventative and supportive care, routine morning and evening dental and mouth care, shaving, dressing and grooming, making beds and changing linens.

You will measure and document nutritional intake, weights and heights, bowel/bladder care, moving, positioning and transporting residents in and out of beds, chairs, bathtubs, wheelchairs, lifts, range of motion, and ambulation.

Communicate and collaborate with co-workers at all levels to meet the needs of residents.

You will support physical, psychological, occupational, speech, therapies by positively encouraging and promoting health and well-being.

You will observe, monitor and report, as necessary, significant changes in routine or condition.

Maintain confidentiality and privacy of resident care, procedures, and documentation.
