The Women’s Leadership Council of the United Way of Jackson County is planning the 4th annual Power of the Purse event for November at the Commonwealth Commerce Center. Committee members Judi Ganton, Melissa Callison and Alison Myers are soliciting prizes and table sponsors. General admission tickets will be on sale later this month.
