History: 3rd meeting (SMCC 2-0)

Preview:  Grass Lake is in the playoffs for the 10th consecutive year despite three conference losses to end league play.  The Falcons won the Huron league, giving up only 21 points in conference play, including 4 shutouts.  Lansing Catholic (9-0) beat SMCC in the regular season finale 27-22.  SMCC has been in the postseason 11 out of the last 12 years, advancing to State Final games in ’05, ’09 and ’10.  Grass Lake is coming of its best offensive performance of the season, a 53-27 win at Jonesville in a game where Warrior Running back Justin Wright ran 24 times for 203 yards and 6 TDs.  QB Kyle Farley probably had his best game of the year as he completed 19 of 21 for 243 yards and had 1 carry for 20 yards and a TD.  The Warriors are a big underdog in this game and will need to play their best football of the year to be in the game.  These teams met in 2010 (SMCC 48 GL 14) and 2012 (SMCC 28 GL 21) The game is set for 7pm Friday at Navarre Field in Monroe.
