Game: Quincy (6-3) at Lumen Christi (9-0)

History: First meeting

Preview:  Lumen Christi, a team that has advanced to the State Playoffs for the 17th consecutive year, drops down a Division after back-to-back opening round exits in Division 5.  The Interstate 8 Champion Titans completed a perfect 9-0 season and boast the school’s all-time leading rusher in Michigan State Commit Khari Willis.  Willis has yet to be stopped and is a candidate for Michigan High School Player of the Year.  If you haven’t seen him play, it’s highly suggested you do so.  Quincy, out of the Big 8, finished its season with a 6-3 mark including a big win over Homer.  The Orioles ended the regular season with a six overtime home loss to Hanover-Horton in the Cascades/Big 8 crossover game.  The Titans should roll into the second round behind its fast paced offense that averages over 45ppg. Quincy allows 22ppg and has given up 28 points or more in 5 of its 9 games.  The game is scheduled for 7pm on Friday at Withington Stadium and will air on JTV and jtv.tv this Saturday and Sunday at 3:30pm and 9:30pm.
