Jackson County Prosecuting Attorney Jerry Jarzynka is organizing a day-long summit to focus on the devastating problem of heroin use in our community and in particular, the connection and relationship between prescription drugs and heroin. Mike Hirst, founder of “Andy’s Angels” is one of the presenters, on the topic of Family Impact. Four additional panel sessions will be offered. The event is free and open to the public, and lunch will be provided. The location: Jackson College, Potter Center, Snyder Dining Commons, Friday December 5th from 8am to 4pm.
