(June 6, 2021 9:27 PM) Mike Raymond won his sixth major title in Jackson County golf with a win at the Jackson Masters on Sunday.
Raymond shot a 3-under par 69 to finish the Masters at 143 – 1-under par for 36 holes.
He started the day five strokes behind Spring Thaw winner Andrew Tindall.
The six major titles ties Raymond with Dick Kurzynowski, Ted Kuzma, Gerald Franklin, and Tom Butterfield.
Cody Lysher shot a 2-under-par 70 finishing with 144 for the tournament held at the Country Club of Jackson.
Brian Coon tied Lysher for second place shooting 71, 73 for the two-day tournament.
Sean Vann was fourth with a two-day total of 145.
Steve Maddalena, Bret Valkuchak and Riley Hestwood finished the tournament with a 146 total.
Tindall shot a 78 after a 69 on Saturday for a 147 total.
Brogan Brockie and Trevor Raymond tied for ninth at 148.
