(May 17, 2022 9:37 AM) Local athletes will attempt to qualify for the Michigan High School Athletic Association state track and field state finals.
The finals will be held June 4 at various locations.
Division 1 will be at Rockford High School; Division 2 will be at Forest Hills Eastern High School; Kent City High School will host the Division 3 track finals; and Baldwin Middle School in Hudsonville will be the host of the D-4 track finals.
The top two finishers plus athletes who reach predetermined times, heights, and distances advance to the state finals.

MHSAA D-1 Track Regional at Saline – Ann Arbor Huron, Ann Arbor Pioneer, Ann Arbor Skyline, Belleville, Brownstown Woodhaven, Dexter, Gibraltar Carlson, Jackson, Monroe, Saline, Southgate Anderson, Taylor, Temperance Bedford, Ypsilanti Community, and Ypsilanti Lincoln. May 20, noon.
MHSAA D-2 Track Regional at Mason: Battle Creek Harper Creek, Battle Creek Pennfield, Charlotte, Eaton Rapids, Hastings, Hopkins, Lake Odessa Lakewood, Marshall, Mason, Middleville Thornapple Kellogg, Northwest, Olivet, Portland, Richland Gull Lake, Wayland, and Western. May 20, noon.
MHSAA D-3 Track Regional at Hillsdale – Clinton, Columbia Central, Grass Lake, Hanover-Horton, Hillsdale, Homer, Hudson, Lumen Christi, Jonesville, Manchester, Michigan Center, Napoleon, Onsted, Quincy, and Union City. May 20, noon.
MHSAA D-3 Track Regional at Bath: Bath, Brighton Charyl Stockwell Prep, Burton Atherton, Burton Bendle, Burton Bentley, Byron, Durand, Laingsburg, Leslie, Perry, Pewamo-Westphalia, Potterville, Springport, Stockbridge, and Vermontville Maple Valley. May 19, noon.
