The American Cancer Society Relay for Life at Cascades earlier this month raised a record amount earning the distinction of Number 1 per capita Relay in the United States. The Jackson Relay was also Number 1 overall in the State of Michigan and in the midwest region. The dollars are still coming in according to chairs Sue Stevens and Monica Hommerding, and so far more than $390,000 has been raised from this event.
